Something is changing in the Summerlands. The Jornians live in the grip of fear, dark forces taking advantage of the pandemonium in the wake of flame and claw to further their nefarious schemes.

For Councillor Eidur, there is no time left to lose. He must return to Majora, to try and unlock the door to the purpose of the Dark Elves. Meanwhile, as Kirik embarks on his training at the University of the Ancients, he has his own devils to deal with. Daktu, brooding son of War Minister Daktarok plans revenge, while the half-elf draws ever closer to the truth of his cryptic dreams.

As the shadows lengthen, a father must risk all to protect the integrity of his homeland and a boy must learn to become a man, even as all that he thought to be true of the world is turned on its head.
