I was lucky enough to take part in a workshop with poet Cliff Yates recently and would like to thank Cliff for encouraging my students in their writing and inspiring us all with his poetry and group activities. Some of the work produced in the session has left me with ideas for future stories.
I would also like to pay tribute to the Sandbach town cat, which passed away recently. The moggy, which lived alternatively in the Bear on the Square and Bridgfords window actually features in my latest novel, The Mirror of His Soul. I’ll be completing this stand alone sci-fi novel in between editing The King’s Blades – looks like it’ll be a busy 2009.
Long Live the Elves!
